Wetney in Kurukuru squad

NATIONAL Futsal sensation Jack Wetney will be part of the Kurukuru squad for the Alfateh Continental Cup in Libya October this year.

This was after speculations suggesting that the 19-year-old 2009 OFC player of the tournament will not join the team as he is contracted to a Fijian Navua Club for the rest of the Fiji 2009 National Soccer League season.

Kurukuru Head Coach Dickson Kadau confirmed to Star Sports last weekend that Wetney is already named in the final 14-man squad for Libya. Kadau revealed that Wetney will arrive back in the country from Fiji on Monday to join Kurukuru.
