As reported before Slovakia will take part in the traditional international tournament played (with both A and U21 selections) together with Czech Republic and Poland since 2003. The 2009 edition will register the "extension" to a fourth side, Hungary, which will also serve as host country through the Debrecen's EC 2010 hall Fonix Arena.

This will definitely be a perfect chance for Slovak Futsal in order to baptize the Richard Baco's (current coach of national holders RCS Kosice as well) debut on the national team bench, replacing the former trainer Milan Kollar, who resigned on past August due to the recent contrast with slovak futsal president Ladislav Cambal.
