Iran’s futsal ex-captain:My cancer is more fatal than Lance Armstrong’s

Babak Masoumi former Iran’s futsal captain who suffers from blood cancer believes his illness is more fatal than testicular cancer that American cyclist Lance Armstrong has had.

Masoumi said he has received treatment for the time being.

“The doctors say you have little chance to live with blood cancer, but I succeeded in staying alive,” Masoumi said.

“I rely on God and have faith in Him in every situation. I am on course now. I miss futsal so much. Without any doubt, I will return to futsal training. I thank the people who did not leave me all alone during the last 10 months,” Masumi said.
