Iran to play Italy futsal team

TEHRAN - Iran’s national futsal team is likely to play two friendlies with Italy in November.

Iran, who has recently faced Brazil in two friendly games, is going to travel to Italy to play the team.

Iran’s national team lost to Brazil 4-3 and 4-2 respectively in Tehran’s Azadi Gym last week.

According to Iran’s Futsal Committee’s offer, Iran is scheduled to play Italy’s futsal team on November 17 and 18.

Iran’s national futsal team, coached by Hossein Shams, failed to reach the 2008 World Cup semifinals despite drawing 5-5 with Italy in its third match in the second round of the event
