Futsal squad named for Israel double header

Peter Sturgess has named his 24-man squad for October friendlies.

England Futsal Head Coach, Peter Sturgess, has named his 24-man squad to take on Israel in an October double header.

The Three Lions will face Israel twice over two days, on 9 and 10 October, at Point4 in Hereford.

Fresh from finishing second in their qualifying group of the UEFA European Futsal Championship, England will now be looking to build on this impressive showing.

Sturgess said: "These two matches will provide a further opportunity to measure the progress that the squad has made, and in particular, will give me another chance to see how the players cope against good quality international opposition.

"We have been invited to play Libya later this year and these two games will provide a platform for players to claim a place in that squad."

A number of junior development games will also take place on both evenings before the big internationals.

Tickets are available at just £3 for adults and £2 for U16s and students per evening. There is limited availability, so please contact Point 4 in Hereford or complete the attached ticket application form.
