Daily San Diego Soccer NewsVolunteer Refs Needed this WeekendFriday, October 2, 2009The Linda Vista Collaborative is holding the Linda Vista Cup this weekend at the Bayside Community Center and more volunteer referees are needed. The event is a mini Futsal tourney designed to introduce soccer to kids who've never played and/or can't afford after-school programs. Volunteers who are not familiar with the rules of Futsal can be taught on the scene.
The event requires 100-150 volunteers, all of whom must be at least 16 years old without an adult or 12 years old with an adult. For more information,
