NZF Futsal Development Manager

New Zealand Football are looking for a Futsal Development Manager to oversee the growth and management of the game in New Zealand.

In liaison with the Director of Football Development, the NZF Futsal Development Manager will have responsibility for Game Development within New Zealand for the following:

- developing and maintaining key contacts within each region
- assisting and supporting key contacts with the tools to establish futsal clubs
- assisting and supporting existing futsal clubs with further growth (including new clubs).

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating frameworks for the development of coaches, referees and players in alignment with New Zealand Football’s Coach Development, Referee Development and Talent Development frameworks.

In addition to the prerequisite skills in relation to coaching, the New Zealand Football Futsal Development Manager will possess:

- Highly developed interpersonal and people skills, to ensure the establishment of successful partnerships with all relevant stakeholders, both within the sport and outside the sport
Specifically, the following skills are vitally important:

- Leadership – leading positively, by example;
- Communication – active, regular, effective communicator;
- Interpersonal relationships – working successfully with people;
- Management – effective skills.

At a personal level, the successful applicant must have demonstrated personal motivation to achieve excellence in all areas, through drawing on the expertise of others.

The applicant must show proven success in a futsal development role with an existing futsal club.
