GUATEMALA TO COMPETE AT ALFATEH FUTSAL CONTINENTAL CUP IN LIBYA THIS WEEK

Reigning CONCACAF Champion Guatemala will compete in the Alfateh Futsal Continental Cup at Tripoli Grand Hall in Libya from 7-11 October.

Following the sudden withdrawal of European champion Spain, the tournament will now be a five-team round-robin event. The Chapines will open against Asian champion Iran on 7 October, before facing the host and African winner, Libya the next day.

Guatemala will take on Oceania champion Solomon Islands on 9 October and then conclude continental tournament against South American representative Uruguay on 11 October.
