AFC Futsal Championship 2010 West Zone qualifiers ready to start

All is ready. Since October 13th to 18th, 2009, Doha (Qatar) will host the West Zone qualifiers for the AFC Futsal Championships 2010. All matches will take place at the Al Gharrafa SC Stadium.

According to the event formula the top two teams from each group, at the end of a round-robin competition, will advance to the semi-finals. The two finalists and the third-placed team, after a bronze medal play-off game, will enter the next year (May 2010) 16 teams final stage in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

We have to remind that Saudi Arabia was supposed to take part as well in the WAFF qualifiers, but withdrew from the tournament at the beginning of October.
