CEFA NEWS:

It is with pleasure that we announce the founding of the CESFA: Central European Students Futsal Association. Its first project is the organisation of the first German Universities Championship. Our goal is the extension of this championship on a Central European level.

An expedition of CA Basañez Montevideo, a team playing in the Futsal championship of Uruguay and scheduled to participate in this year’s first CEFA Tournament in Zurich, Switzerland, will be visiting Europe from February 27th to March 13th 2003. Both the President, Mr. Jorge D’Ambrosio, and the Sports Director, Mr. Daniel Darino will be with us.

FUTSAL NEWS SWITZERLAND & LIECHTENSTEIN:

On February 22nd and 23rd, the first Futsal Tournament of the Türkische Sport Union will be held in Zurich, Switzerland. The event has been largely published in Turkey and has given Futsal a new impulse in that country.

Futsal Projects: Swiss Futsal League; School Championship; CEFA Tournament.

The first issue of the Swiss Futsal League Magazine will be published by the end of February. The magazine, which will contain articles in German and French, focuses on the Futsal development in Switzerland and related events around the world.
