The Asian champions now need just one point from their match with hosts and CAF winners Libya on Monday to pocket the title.
Hussain Shams’ charges defeated CONCACAF champions Guatemala 4-2 in the opener before beating CONMEBOL representatives Uruguay by the same scoreline. They thrashed OFC champions Solomon Islands 6-0 to go top of the standings with nine points.
The champions of FIFA’s five confederations are taking part in this tournament following UEFA champions Spain’s withdrawal.
The winner of the tournament will receive $50,000 while the bottom placed team will walk away with $10,000
