Indoor champions

The "Franco-Canadiense" indoor soccer team reeled off five wins through the seeding round, and remained undefeated through the final and semifinals to win the "Back to School" 2009 Futsal Tournament Oct. 3 at Yuma High. The tournament included teams with students from Yuma and Gila Ridge high schools, and the Yuma Heat traveling soccer club. Galacticos, from Gila Ridge took second place.
