Report by our polish collaborator Piotr
GirczysNo more polish coaches, at least not for now. Tadeusz
Wolny, Andrzej
Bianga, Leszeck
Latacz, Tomasz
Aftanski, Wladyslaw
Lach: those are some of the last names who were sitting on the national team bench in the past 4-5 years. A record number of changes for the
Polish FA management before taking another direction: a foreign coach. As we reported before, the choice came after the four nations tournament played in Debrecen. The newly appointed coach is
Vlastimil Bartosek, former assistant coach of
Tomas Neumann in the Czech national team staff. He overcame the competition of the three alternative candidates: the ukrainian coaches
Roman Smirnov and
Roman Kovalcik (Ukraine) as well as the lusitan coach
Francisco Batista.
The czech coach of
Poland has then just announced his first official roster for the double friendly match vs Slovakia. In the original team were included both
Bartosz Leszyk and
Dariusz Pieczynski from Akademia Futsal Club Pniewy, but they had to renounce to the slovak challenge and were respectively replaced by their club mate
Rafal Franz and the Rekord Bielsko-Biala's
Piotr Szymura.
