Sabah finalise futsal squad

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah have finalised its team for the National Futsal League, which will be held at the KK Futsal Arena, here from November 14-15, this year.

According to Team Manager, Alijus Sipil, the tournament requires teams to register 12 players, of which five must be age 20 and below.

The players that have made the list are Sunarai Raffie Sariman, Ardi Sida, Faisal Ismail, Mohd Marwanshah, Rosmadih Wasli, Datu Abdul Bersih Bagu and Shairul Matney, while the junior players are Khairul Azuan Abdul Rahman, Ahzuan Khan Ahman, Mohd Rafly Samsudin, Rashyad Allen Hussain and Mohd Hanafie Unus.

Coach, Azman Soaibah said that the players have been training since the team selection trials began early this month.

Sabah has been drawn in Group C together with Pahang, Kedah and Armed Forces.

A total of 16 Men's and 16 Women's teams will be competing in the league.
