BORO CHAMPIONS RECEIVE THEIR MEDALS

Middlesbrough Futsal Club may have missed out on the final of the FA National League play-offs in Swindon, but they did receive their medals and 'trophy' for winning the Northern League for the 2008-9 season.

Boro won nine of their twelve games games, losing only one match to amass twenty nine points and an impressive goal difference of twenty-three.

It will be all change for the growing club next year as captain Ryon Leyshon, Nick Hamblin and last season's top scorer Matthew Wootton will no longer be part of the club.

Boro feel they were cheated out of a shot at the National play-offs and will relish the opportunity to defend their Northern League title when the new season kicks off next month.
