Márton DinnyésHungary coach Mihály Kozma believes his side were more than a match for FIFA Futsal World Cup holders Brazil despite falling to two away defeats.
'Useful matches'The UEFA European Futsal Championship hosts lost 6-0 in Montes Claros on Sunday and the next day went down 9-1 in Guarulhos, András Angyalos scoring the consolation. Kozma said: "The result maybe suggests something else but I can say that we were on a par with world-class Brazil and we played two useful matches against the world champions."
PreparationsKozma's side continue their preparations against Libya at the finals venues of Debrecen and Budapest on 15 and 16 December, then take on Finland on 12 and 13 January. They begin their Group A campaign in Budapest against Azerbaijan on 19 January and face the Czech Republic four days later. Meanwhile, Tamás Lódi will face Brazil again in late December after being picked for a rest of the world selection.
