FC Dynamites Laval, a club which is playing in the CPSL (Canadian Professional Soccer League), is the first canadian pro-soccer club with a Futsal Team.

This initiative was created by Christian Prevost, highly involved in Futsal at different levels:

activities, and especially the players' skills and fitness"" said the General Director of the Dynamites, Christian Prevost.

Cosmos Granby (who will be leaded by a national team player Jocelyn Roy) and Charlesbourg Kodiac from the "Ligue Élite du Québec" (1st soccer division in the Province of Québec) joined the Futsal Championship 2003.
