Berita JakartaFutsal solidarity-competition to enliven Korpri anniversary17/11/2009To celebrate the 38th anniversary of the Indonesian Civil Servants Association (Korpri), Jakarta Capital City Government is to hold futsal competition from 17 to 21 November 2009 at Soemantri Brodjonegoro sports hall, Kuningan, South Jakarta. As many as 19 working units are expected to participate in the event.
The working units are Jakarta dept. of transportation, Jakarta Human Resources Department (BKD), Bank DKI, Jakarta Department of Fire, Social Affairs Bureau, regional secretariat, Jakarta Department of Housing, PD Pasar Jaya, South Jakarta Mayoral office, Inspectorate, Jakarta Environment Management Agency, Kepulauan Seribu Administration, Jakarta Attorney office, Legal Bureau, BPKD, DPU, Jakarta Department of Industry and Energy, and Jakarta City Council.
The head of the event committee, Budi Widiantoro says the matches are scheduled to be held every day from 8 am to 2 pm. “This event is a solidarity futsal-competition,” said Budi, Tuesday (11/17). Budi hopes all participants can show the best sportsmanship during this competition.
According to Effendi Anas, head of Korpri of Jakarta chapter says this solidarity competition has three missions; channeling hobby, boosting achievement, and building a better solidarity among Korpri members. “Many of korpri members have a sports hobby. This competition is deliberately held to channel their hobby,” he said.
In addition, Effendi says, the event is also aimed at selecting the best players to represent Jakarta Korpri competing in National Competition of KORPRI next year.
