Uzbekistan hosted FIFA seminar on referee education

On 23-28 November, Tashkent hosted a FIFA seminar on referee education. The seminar was organized in line with plans of the Uzbekistan Futsal Association.

The event was held under the aegis of world football governing body. Instructor from Belgium Perry Gautier was invited to participate at the seminar.

About 20 futsal referees from Uzbekistan attended the seminar. At the end of November, Tashkent will also host a seminar for futsal coaches.



Uzbekistani referee enters AFC's elite list

Referee from Uzbekistan Shukhrat Pulatov was invited to seminar of AFC for elite referees on the result of the Third Asian Indoor Games.

Before Vietnam Games, Pulatov was examined in Tashkent. AFC and FIFA
instructors reviewed his work twice. Third examination was held in
international competition in Vietnam.

Pulatov refereed at opening match of women futsal competition
(Vietnam-Thailand) and the match between Bahrain and Vietnam in men
competition. He also was appointed to the semifinal match between Iran and Turkmenistan. He was also was time-keeper in two matches.

Specialists of Uzbekistan Futsal Association (UFA) connected instructors of the AFC and they evaluated in a positive way the work of the Uzbek referee in the Asian Games. They also gave methodical recommendations to Pulatov for further work.

In recent days, FIFA, AFC and UFA are paying great attention to development of referees. In particular, before this season, the UFA developed programme for referees on improving their fitness and after the second round of the Uzbekistan championship, FIFA seminar for referees will be held in Uzbekistan.
