Estonian Free PressFutsal Tallinn World Cup 2009Dec 1st, 2009Spanish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce and SEM announce the opening of the traditional futsal tournament Tallinn World Cup 2009. 16 teams that represent their nationality will take part in one day tournament.
The place for Tallinn World Cup 2009 is Loo Spordikeskus. Entry will be restricted to 16 teams only. One team only can represent one country or national flag.
The team selection will be on first come, first registered basis. Other teams will be put in holding list.
Rules of the tournament still the same: matches in groups in preliminary stage and the play-off games later. The duration of game is 10 minutes. Tackling is forbidden.
Five (5) players on the pitch (4+1). Up to 12 players in a team. Maximum 2 legionaries may play in a team, but one on the pitch, except goalkeeper (1+1). Number of substitution is unlimited.
Master and first league players are not allowed to participate. The lower leagues players are welcome. Each game will have a referee from SEM. One team will play not less than 3 games on the tournament (max – 6).
The rating of teams and players will be done after the Tallinn World Cup-2009 with all statistics of the tournament. All results and statistic stuff will be released on www.sem.ee.
Schedules of the games will be defined by the draw with team’s captains/leaders in the meeting that will take place in Sports Even Management office (Pärnu mnt. 24, Tallinn) few days before the tournament.
Three places will be rewarded I, II and III. Additionally, best goalkeeper, MVP player and best scorer will be rewarded too. Points system mentioned above will identify best players!
Minimum entry fee is 700 eek (per team of 5 players). 125 eek for additional player.
