Solomon Star NewsOur Telekom donates mobile, t-shirts to U-12 Boys Futsal TeamWednesday, 02 December 2009Our Telekom, a locally owned company through the 64% shareholding of National Provident Fund, is pleased to assist Solomon Islands national under 12 futsal team.
Last week Our Telekom donated 2 mobile phones and T shirts to the team. In receiving the donation team manager Mr Gordon Siluvu said the group was delighted of the donation as it helps their fundraising efforts to raise money for their trip to Australia in January 2010.
Mr Siluvu said, the national under 12 futsal team (little Kurukuru) will be competing in the 2010 Football Federation Australia national futsal championship from 11th – 15th January 2010 in Canberra, Australia.
Mr Suluvu said the vision of the futusal management and coaches is to prepare another pool of young talented futsal players so that we continue to be competitive in the futusal game.
Our Telekom in a statement said Our Telekom is proud of our futsal achievements so far especially with the senior Kurukuru team.
Supporting in a small way will boost the young potential to carry the country’s flag in an international arena.
