FM Labuan Futsal C'ship today

Labuan: RTM Welfare and Sports Club here under its Sport Bureau is holding the FM Labuan Futsal Championship tonight at 7pm at the Tanjung Purun futsal court near Ujana Kewangan.

The championship is open to staffs of Labuan RTM, Information, and Museum agencies under the Information, Communication and Cultural Ministry.

Six groups, which have confirmed their participation, are Big Boss, Hi-Speed, Buli Bah Kalau Ko, Boleh Kali Ah, Tamparik and Pelee-Pelee FC.

Its chairman, Markus Jikunan, said the main objective of the futsal championships is to strengthen the relationship among the staffs, apart from being a platform to show their skills in the local futsal arena.

"There will be category A and category B where each group will be participated by three teams that have been selected through votes.

"The organiser will also be providing incentive prizes for best player, golden boot and best goalkeeper besides prizes for champion, first runner-up and second runner-up," he said.

Labuan RTM Engineering Station chief, Willie Jikium is scheduled to officiate the futsal championship.
