They won't be in time for Hungary 2010, but the aim is the World Cup 2012, above all considering the great chances for the Czech FA to obtain from FIFA the organization of the worldwide event. In this perspective must be seen the proposal done to the Balticflora's star Douglas (complete name: Douglas Alves Graciano) after the double friendly matches between Czech Republic and Russia. The Czech futsal committee offered (like it was a club!) to the paulista pivot Douglas, former Itapeva, Santa Fé do Sul and Araçariguama, the chance to wear the Czech National team shirt, the south american player is evaluating the proposal according to the Balticflora official web site.

In the meanwhile, at least in Hungary, a "czech Czech Republic" will be involved in the European Champs with 14 players to be chosen from the following preliminary list announced by head coach Tomas Neumann.
