Azerbaijan thump Georgia 7-0 in futsal

Azerbaijan's futsal team has beaten Georgia 7-0 in the first round of the International Futsal Cup in Baku.

Felipe Ribeira scored a hat trick, while Rizvan Farzaliyev scored twice and Alvez de Souza and Agatair Azimov claimed a goal apiece.

Azerbaijan's win on Friday put them in top spot after the first round of the contest, Azerisport.com reports.

In the day's other match the Turkish national side beat Russia's Kaspi (Caspian) 4 - 1.

Four teams are taking part in the International Futsal Cup - Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Kaspi from Makhachkala. Turkey play Georgia, and Azerbaijan play Kaspi today, while the final games between Georgia and Kaspi, and Azerbaijan and Turkey will be played on the 21st.
