World Stars lose despite Shamsaee, Nazari heroics

RECIFE, Brazil: The World Stars lost to Brazil 4-3 in a friendly futsal match here Sunday night with Asia finding representation through three Team Melli stars.

Vahid Shamsaee, Mohamed Taheri and Mostafa Nazeri were part of the World Stars selection.

Shamsaee, who was named the World Stars’ captain, and Nazari scored in the match and so did Paraguayan Santander. Wilde (two goals), Gabriel and Lukaian were on target for the winning Brazilians.
