All matches start back this weekend for all our teams and after the wet months of November and December and the arctic conditions recently let's hope all our players and teams see some action.

The under 10s stand a better chance than most as they will be participating in the WDSL indoor Futsal competition this week and through the whole month of January. The venue will be St.Killian's hall in Bray and their fixtures for Sunday January 10 are as follows: Match 1 - Newtown v St. Peters ko 10.54 a.m. Match 2 - Newtown v Wolfe Tone ko 11.18 a.m. Match 3 - Newtown v Greystones ko 11.54 a.m. Match 4 - Newtown v Enniskerry ko 12.18 p.m.

The rest of the club fixtures are: Under 8's Away to Aughrim Rangers KO TBC. Under 9's Away to Arklow Town 'B' KO Saturday 11 a.m. Under 12's Home to St Anthony's 'A' KO Saturday 10.30 a.m. Under 13's Away to Ardmore Rovers KO Saturday 10 a.m. Under 12's Girls - Fixture to be confirmed.

Amy Irwin and Cliona Crammond from the girls' team are our only players this week who are celebrating birthdays. Happy birthday girl's from everyone at Newtown Juniors F.C.
