Two months to decide team and coach future. This is what have agreed the Vietnamese Futsal Committee and the italian trainer Sergio Gargelli, when he was appointed as new head coach of Vietnam. Everything will depend on the Jakarta experience, where Vietnam will try to get a place for the final stage of the AFC Futsal Championships set to happen in Uzbekistan on next May 2010. Gargelli is replacing the thailandese coach and former national team player Pattaya Piemkum.
The italian coach will therefore abandon the F League club Tokyo Fuchu Athletic. Vietnam opponents in the Asean qualifiers group B will be Cambodia, Malaysia and Philippines.
