FUTSAL COMES TO ENFIELD

The FA National Futsal comes to Enfield this sunday when The only Futsal Club in the Borough FC Enfield take on Brentford FC at Turin School

FC Enfield are made up of local players and teh chance to play there national games in the Borough is an exciting one.

This season the Football Association have decided that club should have their own home venue for matches rather than use a central venue.

FC Enfield have Turin Grove School in Edmonton as their home venue, 'Its a nice big pitch and the school is a great place for us to play' said Secretary Rob Brassett

' We will be kicking off our home matches at 10.15 on sunday mornings, entry will be £3 for adults and FREE for children'

' We are looking for a bumper crowd for this our first match in the Borough'

The team has done reasonably well in the first two season matching up well against the stronger sides in the Southern Division, Helvecia and Kickers are the main teams chasing the title if we can finish in the top half of the eight team division we will be doing well.

The Southern Division is far stronger than the North and Midland Divisions, we have team down here that are experienced and packed with overseas players who have played Futsal since they were young kids we have to catch up with them and we are getting there.

Sundays opponents are Brentford FC Community Sports Trust Futsal Club. They are a new side to the league and will be looking to get some points on the board with us as a side they would be looking to beat.

Enfield have a strong line up available with only England Squad play Brett O'Connor suspended for one game and Captain Grant Osborn away due to a trip to Australia.. The only notable missing player is Aaron Cato who has not yet resigned for the club.

Further information can be gained from contacting Secretary

Rob Brassett on 0788 060 3108
