Saints Futsal Cup

Venue: Umbro Arena, Ballymun

Date: 16 & 17 January 2010

Time: 11am – 5pm

The Cup tournament comprises 6 teams divided in 2 groups of 3 teams.

All games will be played according with FIFA Futsal Rules.

A game will last 40 minutes (2 halves of 20 minutes), no “stop clock”, 5 minutes break and 1 minute “time out” in each halve for each team can be claimed.

Two referees will officiate every game. Referee’s decision is FINAL.

Every team can use 12 players in each game.

At the initial stage, on Saturday, every team will play 2 games in their own group.

The winner of each group and the best placed runner up in the two groups will take part in the Group A and the other 3 teams will play in the Group B on Sunday where every team will play again 2 games.

To keep the completion alive, the team that lost the first game will play on the second game in their group. If the first game ended as a draw the team that plays second game will be decided by toss of a coin.

The winner of the group will be decided by:

1. Most points
2. Direct game result
3. Goal difference
4. Most goals scored
5. Disciplinary record (less number of yellow and red cards received, straight red = 3 yellows, red after second yellow not counted)
6. Draw

Prizes:

1. Cup for the winner
2. Smaller Cup for the runner up
3. Trophy for the goal scorer

Players are playing at their own risk.

St. Patrick’s Athletic will NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any player injuries that might occur.
