Marcio had a dream, probably the last one of his magnificent and winning futsal career (still running in great style anyway!). He wanted to play with his young and talented son, João Victor (today 18 years old, best wishes!) in a first division match, maybe together in the same team. A dream which seemed to vanish this summer, when the legendary player of Arzignano was "forced" to join Povoli Team due to the financial troubles experienced by the A1 club from the Vicenza province, while João Victor kept on playing for the youth selections of Arzignano Grifo.
But, paradoxically, the absolute crisis of italian futsal (no worries anyway, everything is changed now!! the golden era is close to come!) gave a little help to the Brancher family in order to make their dreams true. The Arzignano failure caused the departure of the whole "A team roster" players, so that the red and white club is ending their league with youth players only, including João Victor Brancher. At the same time, another "sad miracle": the "magnificent" Povoli Team (playing in third division with a roster worthy of a first division top club) faded away, somewhere in the air. As a result of those brilliant club structures, while João Victor experienced the A1 division level though in an unexpected way and time, Marcio joined the ambitious Marca Futsal.

The dreamed day finally came then, though the Brancher family was splitted into two different sides. Arzignano Grifo vs Marca Futsal (final score: 3-13), João Victor vs Marcio: January 9th, Italian first division regular season, round 16.

Sometimes dreams come true. Parabéns familia Brancher!
