AFF U19 and Futsal championships to be held in Vietnam

The ASEAN Football Federation has approved Vietnam to be the host country for the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Futsal Championships in April and Youth U19 Football Championships in July in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Futsal event will draw 10 teams. Four teams, including Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, will compete in the U19 event.

The AFF U19 championship is a tune-up for ASEAN football teams in preparation for the upcoming Asian U19 Football Championship in China in November.
