February 13th was definitely a great day for futsal and futsalplanet.com. While enjoying the best of the spanish futbol sala, namely the 21st edition of the Spanish Futsal Cup held in Santiago de Compostela, we had the chance to celebrate Enrique Boned Guillot, universally known in futsal as "Kike", winner of the Best Player of the World category of the UMBRO Futsal Awards 2009.

The awarding ceremony was held few minutes before the eagerly awaited semifinal between Kike's side ElPozo Murcia and Barcelona, ended with an outstanding 7-1 score in favour of the murcian impressive roster coached by Duda. After an unforgettable 2009, Kike is even doing better in the new year, having already conquered the Spanish Supercup and Cup in with ElPozo Murcia in the iberian competitions, as well as one more continental title in Hungary with the Spanish National team. Maybe... we were not wrong!

One more time... enhorabuena Kike! Absolute crack...
