Perth Youth FutsalTHERE are no youth futsal sessions this week as the Spring 2010 season has a two week break and resumes on Friday, March 5.
Preparations continue for the PYF annual Sportsman's Dinner on Saturday, March 13, at the Lovat Hotel. The speakers are Ex-Scotland and current Motherwell manager Craig Brown, with comedians Andy Cameron and Frank Robb.
PYF are preparing to participate in the Islands Cup in Dublin at the end of March. The tournament features a lineup of teams and it will be a tough test for the Perth players.
Neither Perth Saltires nor PYF Saltires were in national league action, but PYF Saltires are back on Monday against Boca Rebels at 7.40pm.
There is a PYF Coaches meeting tonight (Friday) at 6pm, at which the PYF coaches will be updated with the topics and contents of the Spanish coaching conference, and will work to include these in forthcoming youth Futsal sessions.
PYF plan to host top class coaching courses this summer, with several international team coaches lined up to attend. PYF are also hosting their annual open tournament in early July, and are anticipating some top class teams participating in the 7th edition of the tournament this summer.
