Libya beats Jordan 6-1 in opening match at International Futsal competition

Libyan national futsal squad Tuesday in Sebha, Southern part of Libya, beat the Jordanian squad 6-1 in the opening match of the second edition of the International Futsal Cup, dubbed "People's Power Cup."

The competition, which started Tuesday in Sebha, is due to end 6 March.

Teams from Qatar, Cameroon, Jordan, Ukraine and Libya are participating in the tournament.

Futsal is a variant of association football that is played on a smaller playing surface and mainly indoors.
