Brisbane Magic Futsal’s hugely successful first season has come to an end with Grand Finals night on show last Tuesday night.

Brisbane Roar’s young fullback, Ivan Franjic, who has represented Victoria at National Futsal level, was on hand to witness some great Futsal being played and also to present the trophies and medals to the teams.

Of the 10 Grand Finals on show, there were quite a few stand out matches, but one will live long in the memory with the Under 11 / 12 match between the Taipans and Green Machine ending on a penalty shootout. The scores were locked at 1-1 at full time and 2-2 at the end of extra time with Taipans winning the first ever Brisbane Magic Futsal penalty shootout 3-1.
