Thai Son Nam to sponsor AFF Futsal Championship

Thai Son Nam officially became an advertising sponsor for the ASEAN Futsal (indoor football) Championship that will be held in HCM City from April 5-11.

The company signed a contract with Viet Nam Football Federation in Ha Noi last week.

The trading company, who owns the Thai Son Nam futsal team, will cover all advertising during the championship.

The Vietnamese futsal squad have been training for the championships under Italian coach Sergio Gargelli.

The tournament will have teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar and Viet Nam. The teams will be competing in a round robin format.

Viet Nam will play Myanmar in the opening game on April 6 at Phu Tho Gymnasium.

Last year, Viet Nam finished second after losing to Thailand.
