The round-robin four-team five-a-side tournament also features Uzbekistan and Iran.
World No.7 Argentina got off to a fast start when Ignasio found the net after just five minutes.
Thailand goalkeeper Surapong Thompa had to make several saves as the South Americans led 1-0 at half-time.
The defending champions got their second goal shortly after the interval with a strike by Areerano. Argentina goalkeeper Morsenson then made it 3-0.
Akkarapong Klomkleng cut the deficit to 3-1 with two minutes to go but Estaban scored Argentina's fourth in the dying momens.
Thailand coach Jose Maria Mendez said his team did not defend well and looked rusty as they had not played in a tournament for seven months. But he admitted Argentina were the better team.
In yesterday's other match, Iran beat Uzbekistan 2-1.
