Cosmopolitan students take on DST team in Futsal fun

In line with their goals to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship, Cosmopolitan College arranged a friendly futsal competition between its students and the team of DST last Sunday, April 4, at the DST Headquarters.

The elimination round saw four teams participating with three Cosmopolitan College teams competing with their peers as well as the DST team. The finals saw the DST team being challenged by the HND Computing students team.

The DST team dominated the first half of the last match after scoring two goals. Ak Muhd Nurramzu Nasri bin Pg Hj Mohammad Salleh and Md Faierony bin Hazelin came to the rescue of their teammates by contributing a goal each resulting in the score being tied at 2-2.

The final result of the competition was then determined by a penalty kick. Ak Muhd Ameer Hisyam bin Pg Hamza of the DST team succeeded in making the first kick, earning them the victory.

Everyone went home feeling very tired, but nevertheless, happy. They all made good and full use of the opportunity to bond with their peers, friends, as well as meeting new people too.
