More than 400 people converged on thePoint4 over two days to watch England beaten in the FA Nations International Futsal Tournament.
England thrashed Malta 5-0 in their first match but lost 4-3 in the final to Turkey after conceding a goal in the last three seconds.
Finland beat Malta 3-0 in the thirdplace play-off match, while Turkey overcame Finland, 3-2, in the other game in the tournament.
“There was seating for 500 people and we had around 400 people there each evening,” said HFA spokeswoman Alexis Lunn-Gadd.
“The Futsal was of a very high standard and it should help to raise the profile of the sport in Hereford,” she said.
Futsal is played between two teams of five players on a hard-court surface.
There were also development matches involving young people from Herefordshire.
Under-14 girls: Bishop’s School beat Weobley High School; Under-16 girls: Bishop’s School beat Aylestone.
Under-12 boys: Bartestree beat Pegasus Juniors; Under-10 boys: Hinton beat Bromsgrove Futsal Club.
