Azerbaijan’s Araz futsal team loses to best European team

The semifinal matches of the Final Four UEFA Futsal Cup have been held in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to News.Az, in the first match the Azerbaijani champion Araz from Nakhchivan played current holder of UEFA Cup-Spanish Interviu Madrid. The match ended 5:2 in Spain’s favor. The goals within Araz were scored by Biro Jade and Serjao.

In another semifinal Benfica (Portugal) has beaten Luparense (Italy) – 8:4. Now Araz will have to struggle for the third place against the Italian team. Meanwhile, the Spanish and Portuguese representatives will meet in the final.
