FIXTURES for Monday, May 3:
DMD Groundworks First Division: 6.20pm – Deportivo Lacatalent v Bayern Bru; 7.00 – PYF Saltires v Breadalbane FC.
DMD Groundworks Second Division: 7.40 – Sporting Branston v Zenit St Johnstoun.
DMD Groundworks Premier Division: 8.20 – Perth Saltires v Laurelbankies; 9.00 – FC Santos v Hydro Phoenix.
The League Cup draw will take place on May 10 in Bell’s Sports Centre.
Perth Youth FutsalTHE Spring 2010 season faces a short break before continuing on Friday, May 21, with the next round of league and cup fixtures.
The start of the Perth Youth Futsal Tote club has been put back until August, revised details will be announced at the next session on May 21 and all those who had applied for entry to the club will be contacted soon. Plans are well underway for the PYF Annual Open tournament, which will be held on July 2 and 3.
The entry fee is £90 per team – interested teams should apply asap as places are very limited.
Perth Saltires registered a well-earned win last Monday night against Wanderers in their national league encounter at Bell’s Sports Centre.
They face another tough challenge this coming Monday when they face Laurelbankies and with only three games remaining in the season the team will be hoping to carry on the good form they have shown lately.
PYF Saltires had a tough game against Bohemians and despite playing very well the team succumbed to a narrow defeat, which almost certainly puts an end to their promotion hopes.
They are in action this coming Monday when they face another tough encounter against Breadalbane.
