The SunNaza Kia offers futsal with soul NAZA Kia is offering one lucky team a chance to compete in the Kia Motors Corporation global futsal tournament in South Africa.
To qualify for the 5-a-side futsal tournament, interested teams need to register online at www.kiafutsalwithsoul.com from May 7.
The “Kia Futsal With Soul” qualifying rounds will kick off in Penang and Shah Alam on May 22, followed by in Subang and Malacca on May 29 and May 30 respectively.
Finals will be held at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil on June 12 and June 13.
Sixteen teams will battle to win the one chance to represent Malaysia and go up against champions from other participating countries.
Riding on the excitement for the 2010 FIFA World South Africa, the Kia Futsal With Soul tournament also offers the winning team RM10,00 in cash, and a chance to watch a 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa quarter-final game live.
The tournament was launched alongside an official 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa guidebook during an event held at Menara Naza on Monday.
Naza Group joint group executive chairman SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin who officiated the launch said: “Kia is committed to forming lasting partnerships with major global sporting events, primarily being the official FIFA partner until 2014.”
“Football is a very relevant medium for us to reach out and communicate to people as it is one of the most popular sports in Malaysia – boasting the most viewers and suporters than any other competitive sports,” said SM Nasarudin.
The guide book contains information on all 32 participating teams in this year’s World Cup, as well as match fixtures, players information and historical facts.
Additionally, anyone who bought the guide book will be eligible to enter a contest to a win a trip to South Africa and watch the World Cup finals.
