The end of a great era: parabéns Orlando

Somebody could object that Portugal has never conquered a major tournament/title under his guide, but that would be an extremely superficial statement. We believe that Portugal now closes a golden era with Orlando Duarte, who has clearly showed what a professional coach should be (and that is not only depending on mere pitch results) and how he should behave beeing an example when representing a country. Futsal development is definitely more important than titles (in a far but shining future this simple concept will be clear in smart countries like Italy as well!) and 14 years of Orlando Duarte in Portuguese futsal have been providing it with a tremendous progress. That's why the portuguese federation must now challenge with a hard choice: who's going to replace Duarte? Not that easy.
The coach from Lisbon will now probably (but is just gossip as the play-off series is going to start in Portugal) join his ancient love Sporting CP, where Paulo Fernandes won't renew his contract.

Waiting for the future, the whole Futsalplanet.com wishes to congratulate Orlando Duarte for his huge work (and for the future one!) in favour of futsal.
