PAPH Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Secondary School Futsal Championship

PAPH Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Secondary School in Lumut organised its First Futsal Championship this year. It kicked off yesterday with an opening ceremony at the school’s new Track & Field Grand Stand. The event’s guest of honour was Deputy Principal (Administration) Cikgu Hj Mohamad Yusope.

The official opening marked the beginning of the programme, which will take place over a course of six weeks. A total of 10 futsal teams, made up of over 100 students, are vying for the championship title.

The teams are Al-Zaif FT, Black Pearl FT, IS Ghazi FT, Junior Star FC, Lumut Lightning FT, ML FT, Shooting Sapphires FT, Team Kami FC, 10 KnightZ FT and LastMinute.com. Each team was managed by at least one teacher.

One of the championship’s main objectives is to encourage teachers and students to work side by side. As the students are also required to maintain their discipline and adhere to the school’s rules as well as regulations throughout the programme, it is also hoped that it will assist the school’s administration in abating disciplinary problems among the students.
