Persian Kings seeking 10th title at AFC Futsal Championship

Iran is aiming for its tenth title at the 11th AFC Futsal Championship 2010.

The Persian Kings have won the championship nine times out of the ten contests held till now. Iran will be taking part in the event without its iconic veteran player Vahid Shamsaee.

The tournament kicks off on May 23 and will run to May 30 in Tashkent. The matches will be held at Uzbekistan Sports Complex and IT University Complex.

The nine-time champion is scheduled to play Tajikistan on May 23 as its opening.
