International Futsal Championship opens in Dak Lak

VietNamNet Bridge - Eight domestic and foreign teams are competing for the Pham Gia Automobile Cup at the Dak Lak - Pham Gia International Open Futsal Championship that opened in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on May 20.

This is the first futsal championship in Vietnam that has been recognised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

Each Vietnamese club is entitled to register no more than two foreign footballers in its line-up.

The Pham Gia Automobile Club and the Thai stars team, which share group A, drew 4-4 at the opening match.

The other teams of the event are the Thai Son Nam Club from Ho Chi Minh City, the Hoang Thu Club from the central coastal city of Da Nang, Sanna Khanh Hoa Club, the Philippine national team and the Port Authority Club from Thailand and the Nippon All Star Club from Japan.
