Teams needed for new league


BRISTOL'S first organised Futsal league is looking for teams to join ahead of the big kick-off next month.

The league starts on June 23 at the Bristol Brunel Academy on Speedwell Road and each team will participate in one 40-minute game every Wednesday night (between 7.30pm-9.40pm) over a 10-week period.

Matches are played within line restrictions on a longer and wider pitch than traditional five-a-side. The ball is also heavier to reduce bounce.

Players must be 16 or over and the cost of each match is £24 per team. There are one-off registration (£12) and insurance (£21) costs.
