LADIES INTERNATIONAL FUTSAL SERIES 2010 - TAIPEI In Taipei Gymnasium, Chinese Taipei women played their first ever international FUTSAL match today (June.4.2010).
It was a difficult task for the
TAICHUNG Select, against an experienced
OSAKA Select.
With the kick-off OSAKA showed their intentions to play an attractive passing game, creating space and controlling the game as they pleased. TAICHUNG players needed almost 10 minutes to get into the game, and against the flow of the game they opened the scoring at the 12th minute on a fast break. OSAKA levelled just 2 minutes later, when Misuzo Nakao stole the ball from TAICHUNG defenders and scored with an individual effort. However OSAKA players started to get tired against physically stronger TAICHUNG and conceded 2 goals in quick succession on the 19th minute.
Second half started slower, but OSAKA decided the pace of the game. Their controlled game plan paid off as Misuzo Nakao scored her and OSAKA's second goal on 28th minute. Last 10 minutes OSAKA coach
Shigeru Kurauchi decided to play with his flying-goalkeeper . TAICHUNG could not match the intensity of OSAKA players but they defended well and even scored on the 38 minute after intercepting a horizontal OSAKA pass.
Today (June.5th) OSAKA Select will face TAIPEI Select-A
