"Last year we came into the OFC Futsal Championships straight after the Fiji Fact tournament."
"We had part of the team at the start of the tournament and the rest of the players joined after the end of the Fact tournament," Sukhu said.
Fiji lost to the Solomon Islands 5-3 during pool play but when they met again in the final Fiji was thrashed 8-1 infront of its home crowd. Sukhu said they want turn that around this time.
"We now have two months to prepare our team for the OFC Futsal tournament and I believe we should do better this year,"
"We know the Solomon Islands will be the favorites but we will coming better prepared this time and we want to finish on top," Mr Sukhu said online.
This year the Fiji’s Futsal team will be assisted during training by the Fiji FA Development Officers.
