New goal for Sydenham team

14 Jun 10

by Andre Awadalla

WINNING an indoor soccer tournament is no mean feat, and now the Catholic Regional College Sydenham boys’ futsal team, including Arley, Daniel, Ben and Joel, have their eyes set on their next goal.

The team, which has players aged between 16 and 18, went undefeated at the Catholic All Schools State Championships at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre at Albert Park last month.

The win means the team now moves on to the Football Federation Victorian School Futsal Championships in July.
